Turnpike Treasures is for the road-weary and the road-worthy—for anyone who’s ever filled up their tank, grabbed a questionable cup of coffee, and thought, “You know what? This place isn’t half bad.”
This shop is my tribute to the unsung heroes of the highway: the diners, motels, and gas stations that keep America running. From treasures inspired by the flicker of neon diner lights to musings for road warriors who find their stories in the spaces between destinations.
Sure, you didn’t plan on stopping, but isn’t that just the way of the road? It sure is in Breezewood. Stick around, take a look, and maybe you’ll find a little treasure to remind you that the best parts of any journey are the ones you didn’t see coming.

Turnpike Tom
I’m just a guy who got stuck in Breezewood, PA overnight and somehow found myself—in the glow of a neon diner sign and the hum of truck engines.

Losing in Buffalo, Freezing in Niagara
Niagara Falls in February? Freezing. A Sabres game? Predictably painful. The casino? A disaster. But somehow, it was still a trip worth taking.
